Fiat 126 96V AC-Motor Informationen

Here the new ac motor which I use and which match to the 96VDC controller.
It is operated by me with only 15KW and without his fan

which reduces the available power from nominal.

Als Drehgeber wird ein Hall-Sensor der Firma Rhein Tacho
vom Typ SDN6.FK10.E05R benutzt.

As an encoder, a Hall sensor from Rheintacho SDN6.FK10.E05R type is used.
It's used for speed detection on a gear on the motor b side.
The characteristics of the sensor are the frequency range 0.1 Hz to 20 kHz, the supply is between 4.5 VDC to 24 VDC, operating temperature of -40 ° C to 140 ° C and IP65.

    ev genauere Technische Daten, Zeichnung
    Gewicht etc......

  3. Hi Ben, aren't you scared that the peak power of almost 40kW (and max torque) is not going to destroy gearbox or driveshafts? I have heard that these cars are sensitive for rought starts on a first gear (driveshafts)...

  4. Hi Kortas,

Ahh, No Problem because I'm always using 3th and 4th gear.
In City or to climb up hills i use the 3th gear, and if I'm doing a trip out City than 4th gear.
Rear, 1 and 2nd gear is not useable for me because my Controller settings are to aggressive for these, but very good for 3 and 4th.
When I'm starting from 0km/h I get only 10KW out of the batterie pack and when I reach 30-40km/h than I have 20KW from batterie.
I hope to be a little be safe in this case,
but I agree with you 40KW are really to much!
    regards Ben

    1. That is amazing! I am thinking of doing the same thing with my Fiat. Either use Curtis 96V AC controller with the old motor or buy a kit including a motor (http://kostov-motors.com/tractionmotors/kostovevmotors(ac-dc)/3-phaseacmotorsforelectricvehicles/10ac9motor-controllerkit/).

What do you think about getting new controller only running it with the old motor? Why you also have bought new motor if such a power (40-50kW) is not really needed...
